Vile Video is a one man filming operation on a mission to capture heavy bands the way they were meant to be enjoyed: In Beautiful Standard Definition.

My name is Zach Fragoso and I'm a musician and amature videographer. I started Vile Video during the pandemic because I had become unsatisfied with the sterility of modern video formats and the cookie-cutter look "VHS" plugins create. After binge watching Interviews, studio footage and band compilations of old I knew there was only one way to capture the essence of Death/Black/Thrash Metal genres while creating an authentic vintage look: use authentic vintage gear.

Since March of 2020 I have been gathering all the necessary components to make this a reality. With the exception of the tools required to get all of this onto the internet, everything is created using period correct Camcorders, Edit VCRs, Title Generators and other vintage hardware from the 80s & 90s.

Because of this there's no real set schedule on releases after I film them due to the imperfections of these machines. It's a lot of effort getting everything to look the way it does but personally I think it's worth it and I hope you do too.
